WHAT “JESUS DIED FOR YOU” MEANT TO JESUS AND HIS APOSTLES
Book in Progress – Read
Salvation by Being Good
While It’s Still Free!
If all it takes to be saved is to be a good person then Jesus died for nothing.
Salvation by Being Good counters this common misunderstanding.
SbBG shows why the overwhelming testimony of the Bible is that being good is exactly what it takes to be saved – and Jesus died on the cross for that purpose.
In Salvation by Being Good You Will Discover:
God made us righteous and saved. Most of us stay that way.
Both Jesus and Paul taught Solus Bonitas, salvation by goodness alone, not salvation by believing something.
Jesus died to inspire righteousness, not to transfer it by faith.
Jesus didn’t tell everyone to be born again, only those who need to start a new life.
The Gospel is not a formula, it's the blessing of not being wicked.
The modern Gospel relies on Universal Condemnation Because Human, making God out to be a monster.
The modern Gospel relies on proof texts taken out of context and applied universally when they were meant to apply to a local people for a particular time.

SECTION 4 - THE GOSPEL - FROM ABRAHAM TO TODAY
In Africa “preaching the Gospel” is seen as a way to lift oneself from poverty. After becoming involved with many Kenyans and other Africans I frequently get requests from would-be evangelists hoping to get support for their “ministry”. They will show me pictures and say, “See, I’m preaching the Gospel. With your help I can reach more people in my country!”
I then ask them, “What is the Gospel?”
And they have no clue.
I ask them, “Since you’re an evangelist preaching the Gospel and hoping to get paid for it, surely you’ve read every scripture in the Bible with the word “Gospel” in it, right?”
They haven’t.
It’s the same for Americans claiming to preach the Gospel. They really don’t know what the Gospel is.
So let’s go through it beginning with Abraham.
